Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a senior project manager for complex construction and refurbishment programs in healthcare facilities. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams through design, construction, and close-out, ensuring alignment with master plans and KP goals.

The role requires strong leadership, procurement oversight, and experience managing budgets from $50–$100 million, with a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years experience in construction and/or design project management.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and minimum five (5) years experience in project management or a directly related field OR Minimum eight (8) years experience in project management or a directly related field.

Responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates project team members, including internal staff, consultants, and vendors.
• Manages scope, schedule, budget, and change control across projects.
• Monitors project performance, risks, and issue resolution with mitigation plans.
• Ensures KP goals and client service throughout design and construction.
• Reviews vendor performance and invoices; supports contract negotiations.
• Communicates project status to KP leadership and stakeholders.
