Avery Hall, a Brooklyn-based design-focused development office, is seeking a Senior Designer to own design intent across mixed-use and multifamily projects from concept through occupancy. This hands-on role requires regular on-site presence at active construction sites and in-office time at Avery Hall's headquarters in Gowanus.

You will coordinate architects, interior designers, and consultants, review RFIs and submittals, and collaborate with development and construction leadership to maintain

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a design-related field.
• Master's degree strongly preferred in Real Estate Development, Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering.
• Professional architectural license not required.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to conceptual and schematic design (massing, unit mix, façade expression, and material direction).
• Maintain design vision across the full building process and ensure field execution aligns with standards.
• Review concept, schematic, and design development packages for constructability ahead of construction administration.
• Manage design execution of exterior architecture, façade, lobby, residential interiors, amenity spaces, and public realm improvements through completion.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, mock-ups, field sketches, and finish samples during construction.
