Job summary

Bergmeyer in Boston seeks an experienced Architect or Interior Architect to lead technical production on hospitality projects. You will adapt client workflows in Revit, coordinate with consultants and vendors, and drive drawings from concept through construction administration.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in restaurant or hospitality projects, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate complex kitchen and MEP systems.

Qualifications

• Professional degree required in Architecture or Interior Architecture.
• On track for licensure preferred.
• Proficiency with major design and collaboration tools (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office) is required.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Enscape, Miro and OneNote is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical and production efforts under PM guidance, coordinating with consultants, vendors and internal teams.
• Support project managers in maintaining schedule, deliverables, and team alignment.
• Participate in the full design process from concept through Construction Administration as part of a project team.
• Independently develop technical drawings for coordination and review by senior staff, including millwork, core and shell coordination, and integration of complex kitchen and MEP systems.
• Work on fast-paced, technical projects with kitchen, MEP-FP and structural coordination; experience with ground-up core-and-shell detailing is a plus.
• Maintain strong organizational skills and conduct site surveys, code analysis, and ensure accessibility and local jurisdiction compliance.
• Prepare design development and construction document packages with project team, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Up to 10% travel is required.
• Employees work out of the Boston office 3+ days a week under the Flexible Work Policy.
