Jacobs is hiring Senior Alternative Delivery Managers to lead Design for Design-Build transportation programs. You will manage multi-office teams, align with contractors and concessionaires, and drive delivery excellence on major projects valued at hundreds of millions of dollars.

The role requires a PE license, civil engineering degree, and 5+ years in design delivery or 10+ years in roadway leadership, with experience in the Southeast DOT landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline is required.
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required.
• 5+ years as Design Manager or Contractor Design-Build Integration Manager on $100M+ projects, or 10+ years as Roadway Lead Engineer on $200M+ projects.
• Experience with Southeast DOT clients (GA, TN, FL, SC, NC) with regional standards familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead full delivery of complex Design-Build and PPP transportation projects, ensuring quality, schedule, budget, and contract compliance.
• Coordinate multi-discipline teams across offices and support functions to meet project goals.
• Build strong relationships with contractors, owners, DOTs, and stakeholders.
• Oversee project planning, staffing, financial performance, schedule management and profitability.
• Mentor engineering staff and direct daily technical activities.
