The Technical Project Architect is responsible for the technical demands of facilitating project documentation and the permitting process while adhering to Webcor’s quality standards and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect with at least 10 years of industry experience as a technical architect.
• Proven experience in technical design development and managing design consultants and effective design documentation (Architectural, Structural, MEP/HVAC etc.) and other relevant trades.
• Prior experience managing construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the project Owner’s Design Architect to provide design documentation throughout the development of the project.
• Lead the technical and design process of the project from Design Development through Construction and Occupancy
• Work with the Project Executive/Director and Design Manager to provide overall design documentation leadership on the project.
• Ensures communication between Designers, the Construction team, and the client representatives.
• Act as an advocate for the Owner’s design requirements amongst the overall design build team, working to bring the designer’s and builder’s efforts together for the project to achieve the Owner’s business objectives for the project.
• Coordinate with the 3D BIM and VDC teams through the project design documentation development.
• Provide technical guidance, planning and logistical information for bids and tenders.
