Arizona State University in Tempe seeks an Architect Senior to act as owner’s Design Manager during the design and construction of lab, advanced manufacturing and research facilities. The role leads multidisciplinary teams, ensures code compliance, and aligns facility layouts with user needs and budgets.

Requirements include a registered Architect in AZ or NCARB within 6 months, a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, architectural layouts and technical specifications for scientific/research facilities.
• Manage multidisciplinary A/E and Construction teams to ensure compliance with codes and budgets.
• Ensure facility layouts align with user needs and program statements.
• Provide design management during design and construction phases of labs and advanced manufacturing projects.
