Fidelity is seeking a Senior Analyst, Derivatives, to support operations for various derivatives products. You will handle trade confirmations, lifecycle events, collateral management, and margin calls while collaborating with a small, dedicated team.

The role emphasizes identifying high-risk items, driving process improvements, and providing clear reporting to internal and external partners. Onsite work model is being phased in regionally.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in business or finance.
• Progressive years of financial services work experience; derivatives operations experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a small, tight-knit team daily.
• Ability to recognize and elevate high-risk items to minimize loss to Fidelity.
• Innovative mindset to drive operational improvements.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel) and ability to train on different OS.
• Completing trade confirmations and lifecycle events for derivatives trading.
• Executing daily margin calls and settlement of collateral with brokers.
• Providing reporting to internal and external partners.
• Escalating problems that impact daily operations.
• Assisting in development/review of policies and procedures.
• Testing and automating processes and workflows in a evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform trade confirmations and lifecycle events for derivatives trading.
• Execute daily margin calls and settle collateral with broker-dealers and custodians.
• Transfer collateral and analyze collateral variances.
• Research and resolve variances; serve as first contact for business partners.
• Provide operational reporting to internal/external stakeholders.
• Assist in policy development and process improvements.
• Support tactical, strategic, and regulatory projects for derivatives capabilities.
