Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks an experienced Deputy Project Management Lead to support the Project Management Lead in managing day-to-day program execution and serve as the primary integrator across all PMC workstreams.

The Deputy PM Lead coordinates engineering, project controls, procurement, construction, CQV, and permitting teams, ensuring governance, risk management, and timely issue resolution across cost, schedule, quality, and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of project/program management experience including leadership of large capital projects.
• 10+ years of project/program experience in pharmaceutical/biotech facilities.
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of communications, governance, design management, and project delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in leading all phases of project delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and commercial personnel.
• Monitor project schedules, critical path activities, milestones, and performance metrics.
• Manage interfaces with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Lead project risk management, including identification, assessment, mitigation, and tracking.
• Support contract administration and commercial management functions.
• Coordinate commissioning, regulatory readiness, startup, and facility handover.
