DC Government is seeking a Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Inspections and Evaluations to serve as the principal advisor to the AIG and to ensure formulation and implementation of work plans for engagements assessing district agencies' efficiency.

You will provide leadership, policy directives, planning and coordination assistance, and professional coaching to I&E's supervisory auditors/analysts, with external representation to the City Council, the Mayor, and agency heads.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in program analysis and evaluating effectiveness.
• Must have at least 10+ years of experience managing a team.
• Work is performed in a normal office setting.

Responsabilités

• Oversee performance of subordinate supervisory auditors/analysts in I&E engagements.
• Represent OIG in external meetings with City Council, Mayor, or agency heads.
• Participate in preplanning conferences and decision meetings; advise on continuation or termination of engagements.
• Provide leadership for annual performance appraisals and foster an equitable workplace.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
