Job summary

DC Department of Human Resources seeks a Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Inspections and Evaluations to lead I&E engagements and advise the AIG. You will coordinate staff workloads, ensure compliance with policies and laws, and coach supervisory auditors/analysts.

You will represent OIG in external meetings and drive preplanning, decision conferences, and recommendations on engagements. Requires 10+ years of team leadership experience in similar settings.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams in a governmental or public-sector setting.
• Strong understanding of audit/inspections processes and controls.

• Oversee and guide I&E engagements and staff performance.
• Represent OIG in external meetings with City officials and agency heads.
