Job summary

County District Attorney's Office seeks an experienced Assistant District Attorney to represent the Commonwealth in prosecutions within the County. You will work on cases from preliminary hearings through appeals, under authority delegated by the District Attorney.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree required and admission to practice before PA Supreme Court.
Continuing legal education required; some computer training is helpful.
Seven+ years of relevant attorney experience and leadership abilities to oversee staff attorneys.

Responsibilities

Represents the Commonwealth in prosecutions at preliminary hearing, pre-trial motions, trials, and appeals.
Assists police in investigations and provides legal opinions relevant to investigations.
Reviews and signs criminal information; prepares witnesses for court appearances.
Upholds ethical duties to seek justice and provides community/prosecution outreach as assigned.
