Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, environmental engineering, construction management, or closely related field.
• Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in civil engineering and/or public works administration, including at least three (3) years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans organize and assigns work to division managers; evaluates and provides feedback to subordinates.
• Provides oversight of the department's operations, enforcing policies and managing drainage infrastructure systems.
• Assists in budgeting and allocation of funds for staffing, equipment and materials.
• Monitors permit compliance and reporting for MS4 and district plan requirements.
• Oversees capital improvement projects from master planning to construction.
• Represents the department in presentations to the Board of Commissioners.
