Job summary

Rockdale is seeking a supervisor to oversee the engineering and construction operations of the Stormwater Management Department. This role includes personnel management, engineering, design, permitting, construction management, inspection, procurement, and accounting for all stormwater projects.

Responsibilities include budgeting, regulatory compliance, and coordinating with other agencies, regulators, and committees. A civil engineering degree and 7+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, or other appropriate fields.
• Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in design, permitting, and construction of stormwater infrastructure or related fields.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering and construction operations, personnel, consultants, and contractors.
• Direct planning, procurement, contract administration, surveying, plan review, permitting, and inspection activities.
• Develop and manage divisional budgets; review purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and payments.
