Job summary

Ironclad Defense Works is seeking a Senior Deployable Communications and Information Systems Program Manager to lead NATO deployable CIS initiatives in Norfolk, VA. The role requires extensive program-management experience in military information systems and multinational environments, with active security clearance.

You will oversee planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder reporting to support capability delivery. The position is full-time and on-site, with travel up to 30 days annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years in project management for communications or information systems.
• Three+ years in risk and issue management in complex programs.
• Three+ years in change management within capability programs.
• Three+ years in QA reviews and audits using qualitative/quantitative methods.
• Three+ years capturing Operational Lessons Identified and gap analysis.
• Three+ years in deployable CIS or signals in NATO/multinational settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage program issues and changes using established processes and governance.
• Capture, assess, and communicate changes affecting the DCIS program.
• Maintain program issue logs and schedule activities and milestones.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement across the program.
• Review Joint Staff reports and project specifications for quality.
• Apply QA techniques to program and project reviews and audits.
• Identify DCIS capability gaps and align with Capability Program Plans.
• Proactively identify risks, develop responses, and maintain risk logs.
• Prepare decision-ready information for program stakeholders.
• Support Program Director and coordinate with other contractor staff.
