Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent with certifications in MSP/PRINCE2/PMI.
• Minimum three years supporting enterprise or tactical CIS.
• Three years in cloud computing, networking, routing/switching, or virtualization.
• Three years supporting satellite communications, cybersecurity, zero trust, or AI-enabled network management.
• Three years expert in deployable CIS or related disciplines within NATO/multinational environments.
• Three years supporting capability development of CIS or related systems.
• Three years integrating emerging technologies.
• Three years delivering technical analyses and briefings.

Responsibilities

• Advise DCIS Program Director on emerging and future technologies for deployable CIS.
• Assess current NATO DCIS capabilities and identify gaps.
• Develop technical recommendations to support modernization initiatives.
• Participate in DCIS architecture reviews and strategic capability development.
• Evaluate technologies for potential deployment.
• Produce evaluation reports and deliver briefings to stakeholders.
• Assess integration of emerging tech into DCIS architectures.
• Evaluate interoperability with legacy systems and federated networks.
• Support operational testing and evaluation activities.
• Review findings and identify corrective actions for capability gaps.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation recommendations.
• Support DCIS workshops and development of program-management products.
