Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a DCIS Future Technologies SME to provide onsite support in Norfolk, VA. The role focuses on emerging technologies, capability development, and modernization of Deployable Communications and Information Systems.

You will conduct assessments, gap analyses, and architecture reviews, translating complex technical findings into actionable recommendations for the DCIS Program Director and stakeholders. Travel up to 30 days per year may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/CE/EE or related; MSP/PRINCE2/PMI certs may substitute.
3+ years supporting enterprise or tactical CIS.
3+ years in cloud, networking, or virtualization domains.
Active NATO clearance and passport with no travel restrictions.

Responsibilities

Provide technical advisory support to the DCIS Program Director on emerging technologies.
Assess current NATO DCIS capabilities and develop modernization recommendations.
Evaluate commercial and government technologies for deployment in DCIS environments.
Develop technical evaluation reports, briefings, and risk assessments; support workshops.
