Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to lead forecasting, consensus planning and cross‑functional collaboration across Sales, General Managers and Category Management. You will analyze historical trends, adjust forecasts for seasonality, and drive improvements in in‑stock performance and inventory turns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in supply chain, statistics or related field.
• 4+ years in food industry or supply chain management.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate with leaders across departments.
• Proficiency in statistical concepts and forecasting methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting and consensus discussions between Demand Team, Sales Leadership, GMs and Category Management.
• Analyze historical trends, seasonality and demand drivers to prepare forecast data for stakeholders.
• Manage KPI weekly by segment and drive continuous improvement in in‑stock and inventory turns.
• Coach and educate the team on best practices and Demand Planner tools.
• Lead regional planning meetings and communicate changes to Replenishment Planners.
• Develop reports and scorecards to measure forecast accuracy and bias.
