Job summary

CJ Schwan’s is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to develop accurate sales forecasts for assigned products. You will collaborate with Sales Planning, Marketing, and Trade to align demand with business priorities and improve forecast accuracy.

The role requires 5+ years in demand planning or forecasting, strong communication, and experience with Blue Yonder. Base salary ranges $75,000–$125,000 with a 10% annual incentive, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years demand planning or forecasting experience.
• Experience with forecasting tools and supply chain principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead projects and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Examine historical shipments, use forecast tools, and document assumptions.
• Analyze historical data and trends to forecast demand by item, week, customer and geography.
• Track actual demand vs. forecast and reduce bias to improve accuracy.
• Participate in education and training; implement new forecasting software.
• Collaborate with Sales Planning and Trade on variances outside tolerance.
