Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to manage CPFR activities for the Home Depot account and to maintain forecast models using insights from sales, marketing, finance, and analysts. The role drives accurate demand planning and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include leading weekly calls with customers, generating consensus forecasts, and developing YOY tools to validate forecasts while identifying opportunities to optimize network strategy and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or relevant field.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Must understand CPFR to effectively manage forecast.
• Strong written, verbal, and in-person communication skills when interfacing with customers.
• Strong relationship builder.
• Excellent data analysis skills.
• Solid business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Elevate impact of operational targets through strategic initiatives and long-term planning.
• Gather and incorporate market intelligence to produce the best possible forecast.
• Participate in weekly conference calls with internal/external customers to review sales, forecast, and commitments.
• Facilitate weekly meetings with sales teams and customers to generate consensus forecast.
• Report information for action plan, contingency plan, and align on decision making with BM, PM, and sales team.
• Gather customer's needs and changes in demand proactively.
• Develop YOY analysis tool to validate current forecast.
• Participate in meetings to look for process improvement opportunities and ways to optimize network strategy with customers.
• Share insights related to demand shifts and market conditions.
• Use sales trend, BI data, ML suggestions, and competitive information shared by the customer.
• Negotiate with BM/PM teams to acquire allocations under factory constraint situations.
