Job summary

Mercury Marine, a Brunswick Corporation brand, is seeking a Senior Demand Planning Analyst to own an 18-month rolling demand plan for propulsion products. You’ll partner with Sales, Product Management, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to translate market intelligence into actionable forecasts and drive inventory optimization.

The role requires leading the monthly planning process, analyzing forecast performance, presenting insights to leadership, and guiding continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• 4+ years of demand planning or related experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional planning processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, validation, and maintenance of demand forecasts for propulsion product families and channels by integrating models, market intelligence, macro indicators, strategies, and new product introductions.
• Own the monthly demand planning process, facilitating cross-functional discussions for alignment on volume, mix, timing, assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
• Analyze demand trends, forecast performance, and key drivers to provide actionable recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Develop and present demand planning insights, scenarios, and recommendations to support executive decisions within the SIOP process.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to improve forecast visibility and signal quality.
• Lead forecast performance reviews, including accuracy, bias, and error metrics, and drive corrective actions.
• Identify emerging market trends and risks impacting demand and develop mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement via analytics, automation, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Act as SME for demand planning systems and processes, supporting capability development.
