Your Role

As our next Senior Demand Planner, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping our organization’s success. This isn’t just a job – it’s a career move where you’ll thrive, learn, and enjoy coming to work.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, present, and drive monthly forecasting process by working cross-functionally with key stakeholders to deliver a 24-month consensus forecast.
  • Participate in the facilitation and ongoing development of our Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Work cross-functionally to drive decision-making, new processes, collaboration, and visibility to the key commercial opportunities and risks in assigned market.
  • Improve maturity of S&OP processes including cross-functional alignment of goals, metrics, and behaviors.
  • Align S&OP processes with business unit profitability and growth objectives.
  • Create scenario plans to mitigate risk and conduct cost/benefit analyses.
  • Coordinate new product launch forecasts with product management, supply chain, and engineering.
  • Report on forecast accuracy metrics and other KPIs as needed.
  • Present to executive leadership with little assistance and drive challenging decisions relating to supply/demand.
  • Make well-informed, effective, and timely decisions even when data is limited.
  • Persuasively and clearly present thoughts and ideas; inspire commitment and support for ideas.
  • Confidently challenge assumptions, data, and outcomes.
  • Train, lead, and mentor others on the team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, business, science, engineering, or technical discipline.
  • 8+ years relevant experience in supply chain or demand planning.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in sales and operations planning.
  • High degree of computer proficiency, including software applications of Microsoft Word, Outlook PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.
  • Advanced skills in data analytics, Oracle experience preferred.
  • Strong communicator internally and externally; able to address and resolve problems and conflict with ease.
  • Strong ability to influence cross-functionally.
  • Ability to use data and standardize the use of data to drive improved decision making.
  • This role may require up to 10% of domestic travel. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives.

Preferred Skills:

  • APICS or IBF certification
