Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Irvine, CA seeks a Senior Supply Chain Planning Analyst to own and maintain demand forecasts for US/Canada portfolios. You will develop forecasts using historical data, trends, promotions, and lifecycle inputs, and lead the monthly planning cycle across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include analyzing forecast performance, identifying risks/opportunities, and supporting inventory strategies and IBP/S&OP alignment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s/MBA/APICS/IBF preferred.
4+ years in supply chain planning/demand planning/forecasting/inventory planning/S&OP/IBP or related.
Strong hands-on demand planning/forecasting; ability to develop and improve forecasts for complex portfolios.
Strong understanding of forecast accuracy (MAPE, forecast bias).
Inventory experience (Days of Supply, safety stock, excess, SLOB).
Scenario analysis experience.
Strong understanding of IBP/S&OP and end-to-end supply chain interdependencies.
Knowledge of planning systems/parameters and integration (MRP, APS, ERP, and/or demand planning systems).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the demand forecast for the U.S. & Canada product portfolio across planning horizons.
Develop statistically and commercially informed forecasts using multiple inputs.
Lead the monthly demand planning cycle and document assumptions, risks, opportunities, and changes.
Analyze forecast performance and perform root-cause analysis of forecast error.
Identify demand trends and adjust forecasts; facilitate cross-functional demand reviews.
Reconcile differences between demand, operations, and financial plans.
