Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an experienced forecasting analytics professional to own patient-based and demand forecasting for assigned brands. You will maintain robust methodologies, perform scenario planning, and work with Commercial and Finance to track performance through KPI dashboards.

The role requires interpreting patient-level data to identify growth drivers, risks, and opportunities, and mentoring junior analysts within a cross-functional analytics team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative/business field; MBA/MS preferred.
• 8+ years pharma/biotech commercial analytics experience.
• Experience with pharmaceutical demand and patient-based forecasting.
• Hands-on SQL and SAS/R/Python; data viz with Power BI/Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Own patient-based and demand forecasting models for assigned brand(s) across in-line and long-range horizons.
• Maintain robust forecasting methodology, including scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and risk-adjusted forecasting.
• Partner with Commercial and Finance leadership on performance tracking, KPI dashboards, and business review analytics.
• Use patient-level analytics to identify growth drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with cross-functional analytics/data teams to apply relevant data sources and assumptions to forecast scenarios.
• Lead variance and root-cause analyses linking actual performance to forecast assumptions; mentor junior analysts.
