Job summary

KEEN Footwear in Portland, OR is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to lead demand forecasting and analytics across pre-season and in-season demand, collaborating with sales, merchandising, marketing, and finance to inform S&OP and inventory decisions.

The role requires 5+ years in demand planning or related fields, strong Excel and SQL skills, SAP experience, and the ability to travel up to 10%. Hybrid work with on-site four days weekly in Portland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field required.
• Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, analytics, and/or related fields. A broad understanding of the apparel/footwear industry and a wholesale marketplace required.

Responsibilities

• Operates as a key business partner supporting the Sales & Operations Planning process, in collaboration with key stakeholders and through historical performance analysis.
• Drives demand planning process improvements and best practices to develop and evolve analytics and improve time-phased forecast accuracy which enable assigned business category achievement of sales and supply maintenance within targets.
• Collaborates with Executive, Sales Planning, Merchandising and other groups to create and refine demand forecasts including an assessment and recommendations regarding risks, opportunities and considerations.
• Summarizes and presents data and solicits feedback in forecast and planning meetings to align decisions regarding forecast direction and inventory.
• Participates and leads internal and cross-functional business process and analytics, continuous improvement efforts, and/or projects.
• Reviews inventory and available to sell (ATS) levels and creates inventory flow models which support product service goals. May assist Demand Planners with analysis and data review. Escalates issues and recommends actions to cross functional partners, manager or executive leadership.
• Gathers, analyzes and validates demand plan, forecasting accuracy, and trends. Recommends adjustments and apply analysis techniques to improve forecasting.
• Develops inventory strategies, targets and reporting to monitor obsolete or slow-moving products and ensures proper inventory levels are maintained.
