Job summary

Elekta, a global leader in precision radiation medicine, seeks a senior leader in Product Development to guide large-scale Agile delivery of software and hardware that support cancer care. You will partner with Product Management, Engineering and Architecture to align roadmaps, drive PI planning, and remove delivery barriers across multiple teams and programmes.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading large-scale Agile delivery programs.
  • Strong knowledge of SAFe, Scrum and Agile ceremonies.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices or healthcare.
  • Degree in a related discipline is advantageous.

  • Lead the planning and delivery of complex product releases across multiple Agile teams.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering and Architecture to align roadmaps and priorities.
  • Drive Program Increment (PI) Planning and facilitate large-scale planning events.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies and resource demands to ensure success.
  • Coach and support teams in Agile ways of working and continuous improvement.
  • Provide clear reporting on delivery progress, risks and challenges to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with product lifecycle processes, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor delivery performance, budgets and key metrics across the portfolio.

Job description

As a senior leader within our Product Development organisation, you will play a key role in delivering complex software and hardware solutions that support life-changing cancer care. Working closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Architecture teams, you will lead large-scale Agile delivery across multiple teams and programmes, ensuring products are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and in line with strategic business objectives. You will help drive continuous improvement, remove delivery barriers, and foster collaboration across a highly technical and innovative environment.,

  • Lead the planning and delivery of complex product releases and programmes across multiple Agile teams.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Architecture teams to align roadmaps, priorities, and delivery objectives.
  • Drive Program Increment (PI) Planning and facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and resource demands to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Coach and support teams in Agile ways of working, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Provide clear reporting on delivery progress, opportunities, risks, and challenges to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with Elekta's product lifecycle processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor delivery performance, budgets, and key metrics to drive successful outcomes across the portfolio.
    Significant experience leading complex software, hardware, or product development programmes within an Agile environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, or similar methodologies, with experience facilitating large-scale planning events.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, dependencies, risks, and priorities within a complex technical environment.
  • Experience delivering products within regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare technology, or other highly regulated sectors.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Relevant Agile, Project Management, or SAFe certifications and a degree in a related discipline are advantageous.
