Job description

You are an experienced infrastructure professional with 7-10 years of expertise in enterprise systems administration including deployment and upgrading various systems. You are excited to work alongside a highly collaborative team that supports high-visibility, mission-critical environments. About The Role

As a Senior Delivery Engineer on our Modern Data Center Support team, you will focus on resolving advanced system issues across Windows and Linux platforms, handle high-priority incidents, and contribute to root cause analysis and platform stability improvements. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in systems administration, automation tooling, SQL Server environments, and Microsoft, Azure and AWS platforms.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting in-process application issues such as upgrades or deployments.
  • Testing and evaluating custom configurations for successful deployment.
  • Analyzing various system logs to identify upstream and compounding issues.
  • Post upgrade / deployment support for various system applications including but not limited to virtual machines, active director, servers, endpoint management, etc.
  • Perform diagnostics and RCA for recurring infrastructure or system-level faults.
  • Implement permanent fixes, document resolution paths, and develop preventive measures.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and architecture teams for platform improvements.
  • Maintain and optimize server OS environments (Windows Server, Linux/Ubuntu).
  • Contribute to internal runbooks and NOC knowledgebase for L1–L3 teams.
  • Lead Incident / Outage management as needed as a part of 24/7 coverage.
  • Manage and remediate client escalations.

Desired skills and experience:

  • 7-10 years expertise in enterprise systems administration including deployment and upgrading various systems
  • 3-5 years client facing experience
  • Solid understanding of Azure / AWS platform services and remote management
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools and structured incident response workflows
  • Strong expertise in:

-Windows Server and Active Directory

-Network administration including firewalls, routers, switches and VPNs

-Virtualization technology such as VMware, Citrix, or Hyper-V

-Cloud platforms including Azure and AWS

-Automation tools such as PowerShell and Power Automate Desktop

Preferred skills:

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-104, MS-500, or equivalent)
  • Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and Azure automation
  • Exposure to database repair utilities and DR scenarios
  • Strong documentation skills and a proactive mindset
  • Supervisory, team leader or similar experience

Must be based in the United States.

Pursuant to the NYC Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range in New York City for this position is $180,000- $190 ,000 plus opportunities for bonus and/or commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
