Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Decatur, GA is seeking a Route/Delivery Driver to deliver products from stores using box and flat-bed trucks. You will load orders, ensure accuracy, and drive safely to customers, while providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from an FMCSA DOT-licensed examiner or willing to obtain within five business days of conditional offer.
• Able to retrieve items from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway signs and report entries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deliveries to meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Load orders properly on the truck.
• Complete necessary forms.
• Load, transport and deliver items safely and promptly.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repair needs.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints.
• Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules.
• Follow transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare reports and documents related to deliveries.
• Operate equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Assist with warehouse duties, tinting, mixing orders, and serving customers.
