Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a delivery driver responsible for delivering products from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. You will load orders, follow routes, and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries while maintaining a safe vehicle and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements include being at least 21, having a valid license and DOT medical certificate, and the ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate or be willing to obtain within five business days of conditional job offer.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently for public interaction and reporting.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have a 3 rating or better on last performance appraisal.
• Must complete HR Cloud eLearning courses for current position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck and ensure deliveries meet customer requirements.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repair needs.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer questions and complaints.
• Adhere to routes and schedules, obey transportation laws, and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare reports and other delivery-related documents.
• Operate equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Perform warehouse duties and tinting/mixing as needed.
