Job summary

TopHat Logistical Solutions Indianapolis seeks a Delivery Coordinator III to manage a high-volume home-delivery operation, coordinating routes and ensuring safety compliance. The role centers on building strong relationships with customers, drivers, and vendors to sustain reliable service.

You will monitor performance, use Dispatch Track for routing, and support data-driven improvements while maintaining a strong focus on safety procedures and accurate delivery handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
• 5-8 years' job-related experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Strong problem-solving, oral, and written communication skills.
• Experience in Logistics/In-Home Delivery a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, and other outside organizations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and supporting deliveries from beginning to end, serving as the expert for answering questions and solving problems related to deliveries.
• Routing and assigning daily routes within Dispatch Track for each delivery team.
• Tracking and ensuring merchandise is accurately accounted for, handled, and delivered.
• Daily and weekly collection of operational data and performance report assessments.
• Building relationships and establish effective communication with customers, clients, and staff to ensure continued and expanding operating improvements.
• Ensuring daily truck inspections + safety measures are met.
• Other duties may be assigned.
