Job summary

Paligen Technologies in Tampa, FL seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead defense programs from inception to completion. The role demands a proven track record in defense program management, delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget while coordinating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

You will drive planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and reporting, mentor engineering, operations, and finance teams, ensure regulatory compliance (ITAR/DFARS/FAR),

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in program management within the defense.
• Strong knowledge of defense industry regulations, including ITAR, DFARS, and FAR.
• Proven experience managing large, complex programs with budgets exceeding $100 million.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex defense programs.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Oversee all aspects of program management including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, finance, and supply chain.
• Develop and manage program budgets and financial forecasts, identify cost-saving measures.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.
• Prepare and deliver regular program status reports and maintain documentation.
