Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to lead strategic weapon system and subsystem design solutions within Advanced Programs. You will manage scope, schedule, budgets, and risk, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver on-time, within-budget results.

The role requires 10 years in defense, 5 years PM on defense programs, EVMS experience, and a willingness to travel about 25%. A security clearance (Secret, Top Secret preferred) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar discipline.
• 10 years of relevant experience in the Defense industry.
• 5 years of program management experience on Defense Programs.
• Experience evaluating program Risks and Opportunities.
• Execution of Earned Value Management System programs.
• Experience working with diverse, multifunctional teams.
• Strong written and oral presentation skills.
• Ability to travel ~25%.
• Proposal Development experience.
• Secret Clearance required; Top Secret preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial, technical, and schedule requirements of all program components to deliver products that are technically acceptable and cost-effective.
• Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and implement program plans.
• Perform Control Account Management including baselines, cost variance analysis, and forecast updates.
• Ensure program execution aligns with AS9100 Quality requirements and Textron best practices.
• Organize Program Management Execution Gates for leadership review and approval.
• Interface with customers to ensure satisfaction and successful program outcomes.
