Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Palmdale, CA, seeks a Program Manager 3 to lead cross-functional, government-facing programs in the Aeronautics Systems sector. You will coordinate with internal teams and external customers to drive requirements, schedules and budgets while maintaining compliance with government processes.

The role requires a strong PM background, active clearance, and ability to obtain SAP clearance. On-site in Palmdale with opportunities to lead strategic initiatives and development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience.
• Master’s Degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience.
• Related experience includes project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management.
• Prior project and/or program management experience.
• Must have an active U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance within a reasonable period of time.
• Experience in low observability tactics and technology, military strategy, and employment of low observable aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Primary interface between Northrop Grumman and Government Customer.
• Understanding of US Government acquisition, budgeting and requirements processes.
• Travel to other government/Northrop facilities to maintain customer contact and messaging.
• Support training and business development activities.
