Job summary

Apogee seeks a Lead Network Engineer to support the Executive Airlift Communications Network (EACN) for critical U.S. Government missions.

On-site at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, the role requires TS/SCI clearance and DoD experience, with responsibility for Tier 2 support of airborne and ground network components across classified environments. Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline; to include five (5) years of DoD experience.
• Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI level clearance.
• Experience with SolarWinds software suites and network security tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide Network Tier 2 support to high level government operations including SLC3S-A, MAF, E-4B/NAOC, and Navy E-6B Mercury aircraft.
• Configure, implement, and support LAN/WAN network infrastructure hardware and software.
• Identify and resolve performance issues, troubleshoot, and upgrade EACN network across unclassified and classified systems.
• Manage installation, transition, and cutover of system components; ensure conformance to standards.
