Job summary

Apogee seeks a Network Engineer to support the Executive Airlift Communications Network (EACN) at Joint Base Lewis‑McChord (JBLM), WA. This full‑time, on‑site position provides Tier 1 network support for critical government missions and Air to GIG gateways.

Ideal candidates hold US citizenship with TS/SCI clearance, a high school diploma, DoDD 8140.03 qualifications, Network+ certification, and SolarWinds experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
• Clearance: Must have and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
• DoDD 8140.03 Cyberspace Workforce Qualification and Management Program.
• Certifications: CompTIA Network+.

Responsibilities

• Provide Network Tier 1 support to high‑level operations and gateways.
• Coordinate network requirements with users and sites; perform system administration on AD networks.
• Operate SolarWinds and other government-furnished software suites for real-time diagnostics.
• Comply with AFNOC, NOD, 26th NOG Detachment 2, and NSD/AFCERT guidance.
