BCG Attorney Search in Newark, NJ seeks a seasoned attorney with 10+ years of litigation experience to join their team. Must have NY admission; additional NJ/CT/PA admissions are a plus. JD required.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Experience in defense litigation (insurance defense, professional liability, product liability, labor law, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, or general liability).
- Admission to the New York State Bar; NJ/CT/PA bar admissions are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Handle all phases of defense litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and memoranda.
- Lead court conferences, depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings as appropriate.
