Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is building the first global cellular broadband network in space to work with standard mobile devices for commercial and government use. We seek a Senior Capabilities Developer to design, develop, integrate, and deploy software across the full lifecycle, collaborating with diverse engineering teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities.

This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, systems integration, data analytics, and DevOps, focusing on end-to-end solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (CS, software/electrical/communications).
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience across full software development lifecycle in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy software capabilities for communications, spectrum awareness, and secure networking.
• Build backend data processing pipelines and analytics workflows.
• Develop applications for signal monitoring, anomaly detection, and operational reporting.
