Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is assembling a groundbreaking global cellular broadband network in space to connect standard mobile devices. The role focuses on software integration across aerospace and defense programs, collaborating with systems engineers and customers to deliver cohesive, high-performance solutions.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in software integration, DevOps, and embedded systems, with experience in regulated environments and strong automation and test capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software integration, software engineering, DevOps, or related technical roles.
• Experience in aerospace/defense/regulated environments is preferred.
• Experience with build, release, and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and engineers to define software requirements, architecture concepts, and test plans.
• Integrate software components, firmware, embedded apps, and third-party libraries into systems.
• Develop and maintain software integration plans and automated deployment processes.
• Create automation scripts to improve build, test, deployment, and release workflows.
• Manage software interfaces, dependencies, and configurations.
