Job summary

Maven Clinic is seeking a Senior Decision Scientist to connect clinical product, member experience, and AI initiatives into a unified data narrative. You will build cross-functional reports and the underlying data architecture to empower teams with a shared view of performance.

You will surface actionable insights across surfaces, define success metrics with Product, Engineering, and Operations, and mentor analysts while advancing scalable data practices for faster, data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytics or data science experience with cross-functional work.
• Fluency in SQL, DBT, and strong data visualization background.
• Proficiency with at least one BI tool (Tableau, Looker).
• Hands-on experience with Python or R.
• Ability to design scalable data structures and reporting from internal and 3rd party sources.
• Ability to juggle long-term projects with ad hoc requests.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own cross-functional reports end to end and explain why metrics matter.
• Consolidate reporting into a coherent, shared view across clinical product, member experience, and AI/Healthcare work.
• Surface cross-surface insights and translate them into clear direction for stakeholders.
• Partner on scalable data architecture (SQL and Python) to reduce ad-hoc requests.
• Define success metrics with Product, Engineering, and Operations, pairing measurement with strategy.
• Mentor other analysts and establish shared language, standards and best practices.
