Job summary

Maven Clinic is hiring a Senior Decision Scientist to bridge clinical product, member experience, and AI initiatives. You’ll build cross-functional reports, surface broad insights, and help teams answer questions faster by designing scalable data systems.

You will work in a flexible hybrid model with NY metro focus, supporting data-driven direction while collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Operations. Equity and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytics or data science experience, with cross-functional or cross-surface work.
• Fluency in SQL, DBT, and a strong background in data visualization.
• Proficiency with at least one BI tool (Tableau, Looker).
• Hands-on experience with Python or R.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable data structures and reporting from both internal and 3rd party sources.
• An ability to juggle long-term, strategic projects alongside ad hoc, urgent requests.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to turn data into direction for cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own cross-functional reports end to end and explain why metrics matter.
• Consolidate reporting into a shared view across teams and AI/healthcare initiatives.
• Surface cross-surface insights and translate into clear direction for stakeholders.
• Design scalable data architecture using SQL and Python to reduce ad-hoc requests.
• Define success metrics with Product, Engineering, and Operations partners.
• Mentor other analysts and promote shared standards and best practices.
