Job summary

Humana Inc seeks a Lead Decision Intelligence Engineer to own the application of decision intelligence and agentic AI across the NBA platform. You will formalize business decisions, translate objectives and data into models, and design production-grade capabilities that improve member engagement.

You will lead a small team of engineers, work with product and data science, and ensure governance and observability while integrating with LangGraph, LangChain, Azure OpenAI, and Humana's AI Gateway.

Qualifications

• Experience building production decision intelligence capabilities.
• Ability to lead and mentor AI engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of decision processes, policies, and data-driven optimization.

Responsibilities

• Model business decision processes and translate into structured decision graphs.
• Design agentic workflows and multi‑agent collaboration patterns.
• Integrate with Azure OpenAI and enterprise models via Humana's AI Gateway.
• Drive governance, safety, and observability for AI systems.
• Lead the decision intelligence workstream and mentor engineers.
