Job summary

Humana Inc is seeking a Senior Decision Intelligence Engineer to build, deploy, and operate ML and decisioning pipelines for the NBA Decision Intelligence Platform. This hands-on role focuses on production pipeline development, MLOps, feature engineering, and optimization-aware decisioning.

You will collaborate with ML engineers, data engineers, platform engineers, product owners, and decision engine teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and auditable production systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer science or relevant field.
• 5+ years of software eng./quantitative research in large-scale production systems.
• 2+ years hands-on experience implementing RL or simulation-driven decision systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and operate ML and decisioning pipelines for production systems.
• Diagnose failure modes in learned/optimized policies.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data engineers, platform engineers, product owners, and decision engine teams to deliver reliable, scalable, auditable systems.
