Job summary

Qualifications

• Active law license in California.
• 5–7 years of civil litigation experience; debt collection experience preferred.
• Proven settlement skills and case analysis ability.
• Ability to teach, train, coach, and mentor.
• Proficient in MS Office and online research.

Responsibilities

• Manage state-specific litigation workflows and litigation forms.
• Conduct document review and discovery.
• Execute documents requiring the Attorney’s signature.
• Communicate with the Managing Attorney and clients to discuss details of cases.
• Assist in responding to litigation-specific components of client audits.
• Monitor relevant laws, regulations, and case law.
• Conduct research and analysis of legal problems.
• Prepare and file legal documents.
• Manage and resolve collection litigation.
• Interact with Pro Se litigants, opposing counsel, or other parties.
• Support corporate compliance with debt collection laws.
