Job summary

Santander is seeking an AVP, Dealer Relationship Manager in Gainesville, FL to build and maintain strong partnerships with franchised and independent auto dealerships in a defined territory. This outside sales role requires daily travel within the territory to meet clients, deliver financing solutions, and ensure exceptional service.

You will drive loan originations, educate dealers on programs, underwriting policies, and digital tools, and collaborate with Credit, Funding, and operations teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in auto finance, client relations, account management, or relationship management.
• Strong understanding of dealership operations and auto finance products.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage strong relationships with automotive dealerships within the territory.
• Grow loan originations by promoting Santander auto finance programs.
• Provide ongoing education on finance program guidelines and underwriting policies.
• Coordinate meetings between Dealer Principals and dealer commercial services partners.
• Maintain accurate records and perform routine account management.
• Partner with Credit and Funding teams to resolve dealer issues quickly.
• Represent Santander at dealer events and industry meetings.
