About the role

Samsara’s Deal Desk team collaborates closely with our Sales organization to drive market wins and meet revenue targets. We are a diverse, global team focused on making the Deal Desk a great place to work and grow your career. You will act as a trusted advisor to Sales, helping to structure deals and align on commercial strategies that benefit the customer, Samsara, and our partners. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, commercially savvy, communicative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This is a remote position open to candidates in most US states, excluding Alaska, certain metro areas, and specific states listed in the original description.

In this role, you will
  • Guide the structure and execution of Mid-Market deals, balancing customer experience, revenue, and compliance.
  • Advise on deal structure, discounts, and commercial terms to influence deal outcomes and educate Sales on best practices.
  • Evaluate deal financials, including margins and payment terms, to meet financial targets.
  • Mitigate risks by applying standardized terms aligned with company policies.
  • Support the North America Deal Desk support requests, maintaining SLAs with quality work.
  • Read and interpret financial statements to inform business decisions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to facilitate deal closures and ensure smooth customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with Enablement to train Sales teams.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Embed Samsara’s cultural principles—Customer Success, Long-term Building, Growth Mindset, Inclusion, Teamwork—into your work.
Minimum requirements
  • 3+ years in Deal Desk, Finance, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations.
  • Understanding of SaaS deal structures and revenue recognition implications.
  • Ability to analyze deal economics and communicate commercial levers.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and policy explanation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive resource management.
  • Proven success in high-growth environments with results-driven mindset.
  • Commercial reasoning with attention to detail and strategic perspective.
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during critical periods.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce and proficiency in Google Sheets/MS Excel.

The annual base salary range is $79,432.50—$106,800 USD, with variations based on location, experience, and skills.
