Job summary

CMS Controls Atlanta, a building automation contractor serving metro Atlanta, seeks a Senior DDC Programmer to own the software on projects using Distech Niagara N4. You will transform engineered drawings and sequences into tested, startup-ready programs.

You will set standards, maintain a library, review others' work, and mentor technicians. Travel to customer sites and office work are required; strong BACnet/Modbus knowledge and cross-system integrations are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial DDC programming and integration experience.
• Hands-on Niagara N4 with stations on JACE and Supervisor: networks, histories, alarms, and graphics.
• Distech EC-gfxProgram experience required.
• Experience with other BAS platforms such as RC, ALC, Trane, JCI, Honeywell, or Carrier.
• Solid BACnet/IP, MS/TP, and Modbus knowledge; LonWorks experience helpful.
• Ability to read mechanical and control drawings and understand HVAC systems.
• Background check, drug test, and new-hire physical required.

Responsibilities

• Program Distech ECLYPSE/ECB with EC-gfxProgram.
• Configure and commission 75F systems.
• Migrate legacy systems to Niagara N4.
• Build graphics, histories, trends, and alarms from CMS standard library.
• Review others' work and mentor startup/service technicians.
• Provide daily updates to the Project Manager and track programming hours against the job budget.
