Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Sr. Consultant to join the Investments and Retirement team. You will advise defined contribution clients on investments, plan design, and governance.

Based in major U.S. cities with a hybrid model requiring in-office presence at least three days a week. The role emphasizes leadership in client engagements, business development, and delivering compliant, high-quality service across a book of business valued in the tens of millions to hundreds of millions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience providing investment advice and retirement plan consulting.
• Strong knowledge of defined contribution landscape, fiduciary topics, and plan design trends.
• Ability to develop new ideas to solve client problems and improve team efficiency.
• Track record of building intellectual capital for business development and delivery.
• Strong presentation and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead consultant to defined contribution clients with plans ranging from $25M to $500M in assets.
• Support clients with plan investments, design, fee benchmarking, and vendor management.
• Present plan and investment reviews for advisory and OCIO engagements.
• Ensure timely, accurate client work and adherence to professional standards.
• Drive business development and strategic opportunities with sales teams.
• Grow a book of business and maintain relationships with client decision makers.
