Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Sr. Consultant to join the Investments and Retirement team in a hybrid role across multiple U.S. cities, including San Francisco.

You will act as lead advisor to defined contribution plans, managing client relationships, plan design, investment review, and fee benchmarking while ensuring timely, accurate client deliverables. You will drive business development, present reviews to clients, and oversee RFP/RFI processes, with a focus on fiduciary governance and employee

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience providing investment advice and consulting for retirement plans.
• Strong understanding of defined contribution landscape including fiduciary topics, investments, plan design trends, administrative practices, employee engagement and retirement readiness trends.
• Ability to contribute to new ideas and improve efficiency at local and zone level.
• Track record of building intellectual capital for business development and client delivery.
• Strong presentation skills; polished, professional countenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead consultant and advisor to defined contribution clients with plans ranging from $25M to $500M in assets; Sr. Consultant for revenue management of at least $1,000,000.
• Support ongoing client engagement on plan investments, design, fee benchmarking, recordkeeping vendor management, fiduciary governance, and employee engagement.
• Present plan and investment review reports for advisory and OCIO engagements.
• Oversee RFP/RFI marketing, strategy and transition; present results to clients.
• Ensure timely, accurate client deliverables and maintain professional standards across business development and work processes.
