Job summary

IntelliBee in the United States seeks a Senior DBA with hands-on experience managing enterprise relational databases in AWS environments. Deep expertise in IBM Db2, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and AWS RDS is required, with a track record of supporting critical systems and guiding a team of DBAs.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on DBA experience in enterprise environments.
• Expertise across IBM Db2, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and AWS RDS.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support enterprise database platforms across AWS and hybrid environments, including IBM Db2, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and AWS RDS.
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, migrations, capacity planning, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Ensure availability, reliability, security, and performance of critical database systems.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
• Manage backup, restore, recovery, replication, high availability, and disaster recovery processes.
• Lead and mentor other DBAs, set priorities, review approaches, and promote standard practices.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve monitoring and operational efficiency.
• Support database security, access management, documentation, governance, compliance, and audit activities.
