Job summary

Atos SE in the United States is seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator with Oracle and IBM Db2 expertise to support mission‑critical enterprise database environments. The role encompasses administration, high availability, disaster recovery, performance tuning, upgrades, security, backups, and production support across Development, Test, and Production environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of Database Administration experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle and IBM Db2 database platforms.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Exadata, ASM, and RMAN.
• Experience with Db2 HADR, backup/recovery, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Oracle and Db2 databases across Development, Test, and Production environments.
• Implement and maintain high‑availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Perform database installations, configuration, patching, upgrades, and migrations.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery testing activities.
• Monitor and tune database performance and capacity.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement database security standards and compliance requirements.
• Support application deployments and infrastructure projects.
• Create and maintain operational documentation and procedures.
• Participate in on‑call support rotations as required.

Senior Database Administrator (Oracle & IBM Db2)

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with strong Oracle and IBM Db2 expertise to support mission-critical enterprise database environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for database administration, high availability, disaster recovery, performance tuning, upgrades, security, backup and recovery, and operational support across Development, Test, and Production environments.
