Job summary

Redhorse Corporation seeks a Database Developer to lead the evolution and maintenance of high-performance data warehouses. You will architect the infrastructure powering critical government insights and ensure data remains accessible, verified, and ready for mission-critical challenges.

Responsibilities include end-to-end design, ETL pipelines, data validation, stakeholder collaboration, and scalable architectures with robust performance tuning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in CS/IT or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in database development and data warehousing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and advanced data modeling techniques.
• Proven experience in design, construction, and deployment of enterprise-scale data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end data warehouse design and construction for large-scale government data initiatives.
• Provide comprehensive product support and proactive maintenance of the enterprise data warehouse.
• Implement rigorous data verification and testing methods to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate mission requirements into scalable data warehouse architectures.
• Optimize data warehouse performance through indexing, partitioning, and storage strategy improvements.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to facilitate seamless data flow into the warehouse.
• Document data models, schemas, and testing procedures for transparency and compliance.
• Support integration of the data warehouse with downstream analytics and visualization tools.
